PV Structures were proud of our integral involvement in the largest solar car park in Australia. We were contracted to offer an on site Project Management and installation services; this means the delivery of the solar car park shade structures on this project. We found ourselves working through poor ground and project conditions including terrible weather. These were trying times but through exceptional team work, we ensured that our services and part of the project were completed to the highest standard.
Solar Car Park Australia Leaders
We completed this project in tandem with another shopping centre site in Edwardstown SA. Combined we installed enough Solar Car Park Shade Structures to house approx 4.3mW do solar panels. This is close to 27,000sqm of covered area, and around 420 footings, which is effectively the largest project of its kind in the Southern hemisphere.
At PV Structures we are proud of the Elizabeth and Edwardstown projects. We are not just proud of the scale of the project, which is definitely considerable; but of our tenacity to complete the job. This is not just the biggest solar carpark in Australia but across the Southern Hemisphere; which is an incredible achievement.
