At PV Structures we are firm believers that solar should not just be for large scale solar farms or for rooftop applications. We look around the communities and see so many opportunities for solar, and the first and simplest is in solar car parks. Next time you are going for a drive take some time to look around and notice the number of spaces that could be converted into micro solar generation stations. Are there uncovered car parks, shade structures in the local park? Take a look at your local train station and note the lengths of covered walkways, platforms and shelters that could be converted to solar structures. What about the kids sports courts? Are there shelters, annexes, sheds and awnings that are available for solar panels or structures? If we take some time to have a look around, the possibilities start to seem endless.
