PV Structures were contracted by Solar Car Parks to Design, Engineer, Fabricate and Install approx. 463kW of solar car park shade structures for both them and their clients at Smart Commercial, with Smart Commercial delivering the solar and electrical needs.
Building on slabs is always tricky, as there are a lot of factors to take into consideration – Heights, loads, design, access, buildability, limited space and coverage, concrete thicknesses, post tension cables, reo and band beams to name a few. PV Structures and our sister company Shade and Membrane Structures have over 15years experience in completing such projects, which is important when you are considering this amount of potential issues. And of course, when it comes to Solar Car Park Shade Structures combined with traditional car park shade structures, PV Structures/Shade and Membrane are global leaders in the field, as no one that we are aware of, have completed more in terms of a combination of solar and traditional car park shade.
